The initiative reached over 2,800 families, amounting to assistance for more than 14,000 individuals. Each received at least two hot meals amid dropping winter temperatures.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this collaborative effort, Global Communities worked alongside WEFAQ and with support from World Central Kitchen (WCK), which provided complementary diesel and cooking supplies. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The support from PIB and our partnerships with WEFAQ and World Central Kitchen were instrumental in our efforts to relieve suffering and improve living conditions for families facing extreme hunger and a lack of basic necessities,&#8221; said a senior staff member located in the region.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement with PIB facilitated Global Communities\u2019 engagement with local suppliers in Gaza for the immediate distribution of meals.
