A partir de entonces se ha vinculado a programas de desarrollo y asistencia humanitaria implementados por Global Communities. A la fecha se ha ejecutado en los departamentos de Guatemala, Huehuetenango, Totonicap\u00e1n, Quich\u00e9, Escuintla y Sacatep\u00e9quez, alcanzando un total de 42 municipios, 1,600 grupos conformados y aproximadamente 25mil participantes (95.9 por ciento mujeres). Este documento resume la implementaci\u00f3n de Mujeres Empoderadas en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Women Empowered in Guatemala was first implemented in 2012 in Huehuetenango. Since then, it has been linked to development and humanitarian assistance programs implemented by Global Communities. To date Women Empowered has been implemented in the departments of Guatemala, Huehuetenango, Totonicap\u00e1n, Quich\u00e9, Escuintla and Sacatep\u00e9quez, reaching a total of 42 municipalities, 1,600 groups formed and approximately 25,000 participants (95.9 percent women).
